ACCESSIBILITY 

Accessibility is an essential factor in order to provide services which meet the needs of all users, regardless of ability. Users have diverse learning styles and needs which need to be met both in the library and through webaccessibility. Web sites should have the ability to be accessible to all, from those with visual disabilities, to hearing disabililties, to physical disabilities. Americans with Disabilities Act Home Page  

Supported by the Department of Justice, visitors can locate general information regarding the mandates of the Americans with Disabilities Act in regard to issues concerning access to the physical library and virtual library, technology and job accommodation needs.

The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) develops strategies, guidelines, and resources to help make the Web accessible to people with disabilities.
